NOTICE CONCERNING THE June 17, 2021 PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING:

Due to the removal of COVID-19 restrictions, the Planning Commission public hearing shall be held in the City Municipal Building, Council Chambers.

Zoning Ordinance Text Amendments - Public Hearing

Request to amend the Hamilton Zoning Ordinance, Ord. 7503, pertaining to the following:

·                     Section 1250, “Use Chart” – Minor clarification noting Specific Uses in a PD (Planned Development) zoning district

·                     Section 1500, “Land Area, Setback, and Density Standards”.

o   Section 1502, “Lot Areas, and Setbacks” – Minor clarifications to the chart.

o   Section 1503, “Planned Development (PD), Lot Areas, and Setbacks” – Minor clarification to the chart.

o   Section 1505, “Fences” – Minor clarification, height limitation of rear yard fences to 6 feet in height (See Section 1411, Fences, Residential).

·                     Section 1600, “Off-Street Parking and Loading” – Clarification of lane striping and drive isle width requirements for parking lots.

·                     Section 1700, “Signs” – Minor clarification, add EM-UPD to Changeable Copy Signs, Projecting Signs, and Suspended Signs.

·                     Section 1800, “Residential Design Standards” – pertaining to Section 1816, “Accessory Buildings”, clarification to match a recent revision to this ordinance.

·                     Section 2600, “Architectural Conservation / Historic Districts” – minor clarification pertaining to Section 2603.1, “Central Building Inventory”.

·                     Miscellaneous minor formatting and non-content related improvements of the newly reformatted zoning ordinance.
