Tobacco Retail Establishments, Zoning Text Amendment - (Public Hearing)
A public hearing will be held before Hamilton City Council, meeting as a Committee of the Whole, on Thursday, May 25, 2022: 6:00 P.M., in the Council Chambers located at 345 High Street, First Floor, One Renaissance Center, Municipal Building on amending the Hamilton Zoning Ordinance No. 7503:
APPLICANT: City of Hamilton
REQUEST: Changes to the Hamilton Zoning Ordinance Related to Tobacco Retail Establishments:
New tobacco retailers that meet the definition of “Tobacco Retail Establishment” would be required to go through a Conditional Use or Specific Use process per Section 1300 of the Zoning Ordinance. New tobacco retailers would need to have a public hearing review and approval by both the Planning Commission and City Council.
