Rezoning proposal for specific properties at Route 4, Dixie Highway, and Main Street - Public Hearing

LOCATION:      Specific portions of Route 4, Dixie Highway, and the area of Main Street & Lawn Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio (see notification map within public hearing notice)

APPLICANT:     City of Hamilton Planning Department

REQUEST:    To rezoning specific properties located at Route 4, Dixie Highway, and the area of Main Street & Lawn Avenue, in Hamilton, Ohio, as specified below and within the public hearing notice:

1) The east side of State Route 4, South Erie Highway, from approximately Hanover Street to Corwin Avenue

Zoning Map amendments Changing I-1 (Limited Industrial), I-2 (Industrial), and R-3 (One to Four Family Residence) zoning districts to a combination of the following zoning districts:

B-2 – (Community Business), IPD – (Industrial Planned Development), and BPD – (Business Planned Development) Zoning Districts.

2) The west side of Dixie Highway from 1861 Dixie to 2301 Dixie

Zoning Map amendments changing I-2 Industrial zoned property to one of the following zoning districts:

B-2 (Community Business), IPD – (Industrial Planned Development), and TN - (Traditional Neighborhood 1) Zoning Districts.

3) Main Street & Lawn Avenue Area

Zoning Map amendments Changing I-2 Industrial Zoning to a combination of the following zoning districts:

B-2 (Community Business), IPD – (Industrial Planned Development), BPD – (Business Planned Development), TN-1 (Traditional Neighborhood-1), and TN-4 (Traditional Neighborhood-4) Zoning Districts.
