On November 4th, City of Hamilton voters will decide whether to approve updates to Article 10 of the City Charter. Think of the City Charter as Hamilton's local constitution—it is the foundational document that explains how the city government works.
These changes modernize how the City manages hiring, promotions, and the Civil Service system to better reflect today’s operations.
