Bring Attention to Where You Live
Bringing Attention to Where You Live.
Bringing attention to your neighborhood is important. Perhaps you want a pothole fixed. Maybe you have an idea for an event, or a concern that you’d like to talk through. Many times, residents assume the City is aware of issues or already working on neighborhood improvement, but that isn’t always the case. To be sure your issues and concerns are addressed, consider some of the following options:
Submit a service request on the MyHamilton (311) app
Get involved with 17Strong
Contact the Department of Neighborhoods
MyHamilton (311)
MyHamilton (311) is the best way for residents to connect with City services. The app can be used on both smartphones and desktop computers. If you spot an issue, such as a pothole, graffiti, or a faded street sign, make a report through the app and provide all the pertinent information (location, issue, details). This information is then sent to the correct department and they will inform you of any updates on the 311 request as it progresses. To get to the MyHamilton app, click HERE.
17Strong Neighborhoods
17Strong works to create safe, clean, and engaged neighborhoods in Hamilton. It connects neighbors to each other, to information, and to resources that help them envision and build a prideful future in Hamilton. 17Strong also helps organize active groups of dedicated residents who come together to promote the betterment of their neighborhood. To find out if your neighborhood has a group that meets monthly, check out the 17Strong calendar HERE. The 17Strong Advisory Board meets every other month (even months) and the public is encouraged to attend. To learn more about 17Strong, click HERE.
