Department Mission

To oversee a myriad of City services which affect the quality of life within Hamilton. These services include facilitating special events, code compliance, abating nuisances with the assistance of the Quick Strike Team, and overseeing refuse collection and associated contracts.

Department Description

Provide services and information to enhance the quality of life of Hamilton residents. The Department of Resident Services is comprised of four divisions: Special Events, Quick Strike Team, Code Compliance, and Refuse/Recycling.

Special Events Division

Responsible for facilitating special events in the City of Hamilton.

Quick Strike Team

Responsible for the maintenance and general appearance of the City’s neighborhoods and primary corridors. The Team assists the department with maintenance of city-owned properties and nuisance abatement, and performs duties to assist other City departments as needed.

Code Compliance

Responsible for code compliance in the City of Hamilton.

Refuse and Recycling

Responsible for management of refuse and recycling in the City of Hamilton.
