Hamilton’s rates are set to ensure safe and reliable services for residents and businesses. Our rates include fixed and usage based charges. The fixed charge recovers the cost of reading meters and billing and do not vary month to month. Usage charges recover the cost to provide each service (e.g., distribution, production, maintenance and capital improvements). These charges vary with how your home or business uses each service.
