Streets Levy

Which streets would you like to see paved?

$31 million over 10 Years

View the planned and actual spending of funds from the Hamilton Streets Levy (2021-2030).

The Hamilton Streets Levy was passed by voters in Spring 2020. Council mandated that the levy funds be distributed proportionally among Hamilton’s seventeen neighborhoods and that residents have a voice in selecting which streets are paved using Streets Levy funds.

City Council placed a sunset on the levy — 10 years — so that voters would have the choice to renew.

Breakdown by Neighborhood

Here you will find a breakdown of the budgeted, spent, and total levy funds to be spent in each neighborhood throughout the duration of the 10 year Streets Levy (2021-2030). The formula for how much each neighborhood will receive of the total $31 million is based on the percentage of roads that neighborhood contains.

In other words, if a neighborhood has 5% of the streets, they will receive 5% of the $31 million over the 10-year duration of the levy.
